Johnnie Walker Blue Label
43%

colour: rich amber.
nose: peat, rich red fruits- plum, apple, grape, date, a touch floral, oak, vanilla, slight grain, chocolate, good complexity, very attractive.
palate: coating, grain grip, sweet, spice.
finish: red fruits, peat, oak, vanilla, chocolate, some floral notes, grain shows gently on tongue, coal smoke on a gently sweet, long finish.

notes: I like this whisky. Good complexity and depth, good integration of flavours. Shows age with class. Very pricey though save up and buy yourself a bottle, a must try at least once. Thumbs up.

colour: rich burnt amber.
nose: big sherry, red fruits-plums, raisin, dates, apple, peach, grape, oak, vanilla, resin, complex and attractive.
palate: coating, sweet, spice, tart.
finish: huge sherry/red fruits, oak, vanilla, spice, resin in long finish.

notes: a good sherry ‘monster’ with a unique resinous flavour that’s not unpleasant. This whisky is big so one may need to add water though try it neat first. Thumbs up.
